ESMT Full-time MBA program grows by nearly thirty percent

- 53 students from 27 countries in the full-time MBA class of 2013
- Increase in percentage of women to 40% in the 2013 class

The eighth intake of the full-time MBA program at ESMT European School of Management and Technology has started class this week. Compared to 2012, the number of participants has increased by almost 30 percent to 53 students. The class is 40 percent female, significantly greater than the average of the 100 best global MBA programs according to the Financial Times. The 32 men and 21 women in the ESMT full-time MBA class of 2013 are from 27 countries, including Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Germany, Greece, India, Iraq, Israel, Malaysia, Portugal, Russia, the United States, and Vietnam. They are on average 30 years old and have six years of professional experience.

This years Kofi Annan Fellows come from Ethiopia, Ghana, and Pakistan. The full scholarship supports talented applicants from developing countries, who are committed to the development of the economy in their home country after graduation.

We have increased our class size to more than 50 students this year. Together with last years AACSB accreditation and successful performance of the ESMT executive MBA in the Financial Times ranking, this is another important milestone, commented Nick Barniville, MBA director at ESMT.

Verena Giovanazzi, professional violinist and member of the ESMT full-time MBA class of 2013, said, I want to make the most of this year at ESMT for my professional and personal development. I am particularly impressed by the great diversity of my classmates and am really looking forward to working with and learning from the other students.
